Luke (Shiraz) is an off the track chestnut Thoroughbred who started his second career as a hunter. Luke as a three year old.

But Luke showed too much enthusiasm for the jumping so he was resold to a young rider with dreams of Rolex. He began his eventing career up through preliminary, but never gained his trust and opted to offer him for sale. I had watched him compete since he started, and even though I was 7-8 months pregnant with my third child, I purchased him with the intent to compete at the highest levels. We began our work in earnest January 2008, by relearning the basics and building upon our newly found solid base.

Luke had a stellar competition year with top placings at preliminary and intermediate. He has successfully moved up to Advanced and the international levels with top placings.
